      Thanks!
It's meant to be a fairly easy level.
Don't worry about the 100%, The River of Pi still needs a little work before completion.

      Dunno.
I didn't get very far in that level.

You'll need to get the mirror piece when OBW is done.

Well, the mines are supposed to be hard.
However, I don't plan on doing cruel-and-impossible-to-find-but-needed-to-complete-level secrets in them.

That's odd, I found that level easier than most of AVN's.

      ------------------
Measuring energy in kilowatt-hours is as stupid as measuring distance in knot-seconds.

    • Well, I have to apologize AGAIN to AVN. Spent more (too much) time on Lockbox and found 100% secrets.

Never mind about needing more crystals (although one or two more of your special torches in the later stages would prevent having to traverse the acid more often than desired).

Didn't get 100% Xichrons as a missed a couple in the timed section and couldn't get back, and didn't get 100% in enemies as I missed one of those flying dragon things. (Knocked 'is 'ead off, but the body was still flying around spurting blood.)

      Definitely a good level.

Now - back to Circuit City to see what Aschaaf is talking about... maybe he's a better leaper than I.

      ------------------

    • I thought circuit city was pretty easy, lockbox REALLY annoying, and plummit summit pretty cool!! The mines were also extremely puzzling. No offense, Bob, but the mediocrity level is pretty stupid in my opinion and FULL of bugs

      BTW, They aren't done.

    • Oh no! I put a faulty version of River of Pi in the levels package!
It doesn't suck you under if you touch the water!

Oh well, the next version will have the correct level.

    • I could add more time in the lockbox, and maybe one of those torches. Summit plummit, I think, is perfect. Maybe one extra health potion. I don't know why aschaaf thinks Circuit City is easy, I personally beleive it's one of my harder levels. A few extra torches in there would make it OK, though.

Yes, I'm going to add more time to the lockbox. I'm not even that mean.

By the way, do you know how I got that time? I played it as fast as I could, timed myself, and took two seconds off the time I got. At first I took 5 off, but then I found I couldn't beat it even after 10 tries, so I made it simpler.

Your pet poodle is flying loop-de-loops over my microchips! The poodle is coming! The poodle is coming! (Don't ask 🙂 )

    • Still working on The Surface (aargh!) Keep getting caught in dead ends.
Completed both levels of The Mines - signs empty & conversations need work.
Summit Plummit - still working on getting 100%.
Misunderestimation - finished - got 100% on all, but DEFINITELY needs a save point earlier in the game.
Lockbox - add 2 seconds to the time and will be good.
Delusions of Mediocrity - impossible to get some Xichrons. Button for final stone door impossible. Had to cheat (Mist potion).
Circuit City - improved my jumping ability and got through eventually.

Some other levels not advanced enough to get anywhere before dying so I given up on them for now.

General comments - more save points please!

Okay - now I gotta go and do some work...

The fact that you didn't say "ARGH! I finaly got through, but they were tough." means they aren't done yet. 🙂

Most people are swindled into believing stupid things like Santa, the Tooth Fairy, God(s), etc.
They later side with common sense and stop believing in most of them.
Yet most refuse to let go of the ridiculous notion of the existence of God(s).

Levels so far: much fewer than Dr Tall has :frown:
      Time until release: unknown

Argh! I finally got through, but they were tough. (Happy now?)

To be honest, I lucked out on the Mines 2 and found the way through after only trying 7-8 (or more) times. Having the save spot(s) alleviated some of the frustration.

Mines 1 - I gave up for the longest while, then went back and spin jumped (spun jumped?) over every tile in the whole level and shot at the ones I couldn't spin jump on - ie walls and ceilings. Died thousands (okay, maybe only hundreds) of times, but finally found the way through. More than 3 fireseeds would be nice! (More Save spots go without saying.) The conversation at the very end doesn't work at all.

I meant the levels were not done.

Don't Worry, our levels are as or more complex than the original game's but Dr. Tall is definitely NOT a perfectionist like AVN and his levels are short and buggy. It's Quality over Quantity.

I thought you meant the levels were not done because I had managed to get through them and you had to go back and make them tougher! 😉

Sorry for the misunderstanding! I'll be nicer.
