I'm having alot of trouble with this...
1. Yes I use Nova Tools...
2. Yes I've used the search feature...
But I seem to be having trouble understanding how to create a weap resource to match an outf resource. You see, apparently Nova Tools doesn't have a template for weap resources and I'm forced to go in there using hex editor, however I'm having trouble understanding how to use it exactly...

You didn't install NovaTools correctly. It DOES have templates for all relevant NOAV resources, including weapons.
