    • Where to find EV/O ships?

I realise that this has probably been asked to death, but I'm fed up with having to dig through piles of 404 errors and swathes of ancient, broken cross-links in a vain attempt to find what I'd like.

...which, incidentally, is the URL - or better still, URLs - to sites offering downloadable ship graphics for use in EV/EVO. My Grand Master Plan™ is too under-developed to ask someone to actually produce custom graphics for me, so I'm just looking around for a couple of ship images that catch my fancy.

At the moment I'm looking for medium-sized (between 32x32 and 56x56) sprites for a ship designed along the lines of the Crescent Warship from EVO. But if I find something which fits my scenario better that could well change 🙂

      TIA.

    • If you want the ship sprites, you can re-download EV or Override, but that would probably take too long.

The only site I can think of off the top of my head is (url="http://"http://www.saberstudios.evula.net")Saber Studios(/url), which, unfourtunately, isn't letting you download anything right now, but that'll probably change.

Edit: Giving him the link might be helpful...

It took three mouse clicks to find a shipyard (http://www.shoalhaven.net.au/~bb/) The ships here look entirely compatible with both EV and EVO.

Try this URL for others.... (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/games/evo/weblinks.html")http://www.AmbrosiaS...o/weblinks.html(/url)

Actually, I've been through the ASW links for EV and EVO. I've also waded deeply into google searches with combinations of keywords like EV, EVO, ships, shipyard, graphics, escape, velocity, override, plugins etc. I'm hoping that some posters/lurkers on this BBS have built or know of sites which aren't listed on the links page.

      Try the (url="http://"http://www.evula.com/shipyard/")shipyard section(/url) at EVula's site.
