    • How to make a plugin

I feel kinda stupid to ask this, but how do you make a plugin exactly? I've been here before, listened to other plugin developers, searched, asked on EVN web board, and have decided to come back here. I've read the Nova Bible (backwards in fact as well as forwards) if you were going to ask. I have RES edit, Nova Tools, but I can't bridge the gap. So, if it's not too much trouble, I NEED HELP!

Greetings, this is the captain of the R.M.S. Controvertial, the most decorated ship-we have green, gold and a stripe!

    • Copy the resources in the NovaTools file to the Res-Edit prefs file. Then download a plug-in from the internet, open it up, delete everything, and you are ready to begin.

    • If you are trying to make the actual plugin file, you will need to first create a ResEdit file, then change the File Type and File Creator to one supported by nova. For a plugin, you should change the creator to Növä, and the Type to Npďf. If you don't know how to do this, you could also download (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/dl-redirect.pl/NovaFileChanger.sit.hqx?path=evn/utilities&file;=NovaFileChanger.sit.hqx")Nova File Changer(/url) to change the file types for you. It's drag and drop, couldn't be easier. It will change the file into a Plugin, Data, Graphics, Music, Ships, Sound, Title, Race Movie, Pilot, or Preferences file. It works great, Thanks to Kevin Ballard for making it! 😄

As for actually making the resources, you hit cmd - "k" to select the resource type, and then you can either type in or select the resource type from the list.
