    • Still No Endgame!

I started again at the gate, killed the guardian, went down the hole with my milla'kara shield safely in my inventory, walked up to the giant's little toe, and... nothing happened. I changed position, walked all over the room, and still no ending. I was using 1.0.1 and changed to 1.0.2, but that didn't make any difference. Any ideas?

You have me stumped on that one. Does anyone else have any input on this? ~RD

Edit: BTW, for the future, just tack this onto the first topic you started and it will move up to the top of the list where we will all see it.

    • This is probably a really dumb question, but do you have the "milla'kara shield" or the "complete milla'kara shield"? I don't think you can get to the guardian before the shield is reassembled, but if by some chance you had, that might be the problem.

Hmm... other ideas.... Are you using any plug-ins with your game? Have you added or removed any plugs while continuing to use the same character? What quests are there currently in your quest jorunal?

      I don't know what I'm talking about.

    • No plug-ins, but I checked my character and that was interesting. I have the shield that the dwarf fixed for me, I have the emblem that Orobos gave me when I brought it back to him, AND the fixing of the shield is still in my quest journal along with the quest to rouse the giants. I'm going to use my gate-saved game to go back to the dwarf and start over from there. I'll keep you posted.

    • That was it! I don't know how the shield didn't get fixed the first time, nor how I got into the last chamber without a completed one, but I re-visited the dwarf, got the shield completed, went directly back to the guardian and giant, and finished the game. Thanks for the help.

There you go! 😄 😄 You are certainly welcome. And thanks, Glenn, for your input which "solved the case". Now, kanaloa, you're ready to go at it again with a differnt persona. I truely think it's more fun the second time around because you can plan your strategy knowing what has to be done and picking up things you missed in the excitment of the first playthrough. I actually never complete my games now because I know what the end-game is, and the thrill is "in the chase" so to speak. ~RD
