As the title suggests, when I try to import a .dxf from Amapi 3D into the program it just sits there like it was reading the file but it doesn't. I have left it for 8 hours and still nothing on the progress bar. I was wondering is it that Amapi 3D doesn't export a .dxf correctly or that Mechanisto 2.0 isn't working right or maybe just something else? Well, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunatly, I don't think I've ever heard of anyone managing to import anything into Mechanisto. I'm sure the topic has been discussed on this board before, but I searched and couldn't find it. It can't be that we're not waiting long enough, as we all have much faster comps than Mike Clifton would have when he wrote the documentation... perhaps the dfx standard has changed, somehow? Clearly I don't really know what I'm talking about. 
If it is possible, and we've just been going about it the wrong way all this time, I hope I hear about it!
