    • Before Voinians?


      I really haven't made any plug-ins (in fact, I don't even know how to start!). But I thought of an interesting idea. This might not even be a plug-in...maybe a new game, period. Anyway, I was just wondering EXACTLY what happened from the point where the Voinians first invaded to when EV Override starts. Are there any plug-ins that create that scenario? I looked but didn't see any, but I might have missed some.

      In any case, like I asked, is there a plug-in for that? If not, this might be a good idea for one! Also, what's the best way to make a plug-in, and by plug-in I mean something that completely remodels the game, or at least continues it (like Reign of the UE).

    • Not sure about all that, but the best way to start plug-making is to get and read the bibles, get ResEdit, NovaTools (if you're making plugs for nova), and any other tools you can use to make plugs. Learn how to use them (this forum is a good place to ask specific questions), and make a few small plugs to see how they work. I've never heard of anyone making a TC for their first plug (released or not).

    • Uh.. Try writing up a plot first. It'll help you decide what kinds of ships are necessary, what missions, etc. It'll also help you attract people to help you :).
