Hi,

I am working on a plugin that has a new system with a new planet and a hypergate. I have gotten the gate to work fine and I can land and buy outfits on the planet. I also created a new dude for the defence fleet of the planet. I set the defence fleet to 120 and used my new dude as the defence dudes. Then, when I went to dominate the planet, it immediately surrendered to me. I thought it might be a problem with my dud so I set the defence fleet of the new planet to the large polaris ships dude (can't remember the number) and tried to dominate the spob again. Again the planet immediately surrendered without a fight. What gives?

Thanks for any help you could give me.

Also, the new system is run by a new govt.

I've had the same problem with EVN itself. What I usually do is dominate a planet, release it, try to dominate it again. At this point it sends out its defense fleet to kill me.

Yes, I have heard of this problem but never ran into it personally. I'm not sure what is the cause, as it seems to be random. This may be fixed in upcoming versions (aka 1.0.1), but who knows. Using the above trick seems to be a good way to bypass it and be honest, although you might want to use it as a cheat ;).
