Sorry for the late reply. I've been busy.

I have recompiled in 3.5.2 to fix that multi-color thing but whats weird is I could never duplicate it on either of my machines. In 10.1.0 or 10.1.3.
Set your monitor to millions of colors. The multi-color bug doesn't show up in any other color setting.

Aranor; I tried your app but I got nil object exceptions when it tried to redraw and when it tried to load a plug-in.
Really? It shouldn't be giving any nilobjs at all, I thought I had all folderitems and pictures and stuff checked to make sure they exist before access. Weird.
Oh, I have a more up-to-date version of my prog uploaded. While it still doesn't offer editing, it does offer a slightly different interface, and I have been working on the innards. I don't claim that mine is any competition to ThorPrime's yet, so if you want editing, try NovaMap. I'm just saying that mine is on it's way.
Hey ThorPrime, keep up the good work. While your interface seems a bit cramped to me, your program does work (or so I've heard, I haven't actually tried producing a plugin with it). Keep it up. Some day, mine will actually be able to edit systems, and then you'll finally have competition Just keep in mind: in a freeware setting, competition doesn't mean much. You get no money either way
Constructive comments on your prog:
When I loaded the beginnings of a TC plug (i.e. it had a duplicate of all nova's systs, with properties set to 0 and location set to 1500, 1500) in your program, it took a few minutes before the wait cursor went away and the map actually showed. Also, how are you going to deal with graphically editing systems stacked on top of each other? (as opposed to selecting them from the list)
