    • Impossible?

      1. Debris. Can i make it so that when i blow a ship up little parts of it will fly off?

      2. Planet attack. Can i have it set so that a fleet of transports from (.gov) take over (planet) while I am in the system?

      3. Escape through hypergate. Can i make it so when this one enemy fleet is 2/3 destroyed the rest will huddle around a hypergate and jump out of the system(using the hyper gate of course)?

    • 1. I think that you can do this by using the explosions and press the w/ sparks (I think)

      2. I am not sure how to do this, but it is a very good idea. Please follow up on it.

      3. I think that the AI players already do this. But I am not sure.

    • Regarding #3: Set the AI of the flët's gövt to prefer hypergates (and/or give all ships in the fleet 0 fuel), and set up the ship strengths and gövt bravery accordingly so that they flee before death.

    • Number 2 is actually possible, I believe

Make a fleet of mission-related ships that are set to attack enemy planets, make the planet's OnDestroy field take the player to a version of the system where the ships' government controls that planet.

Interesting idea. Wouldn't the player notice the transition to the new system?

I've never seen the player get moved while in space, so I don't know what it looks like.

I would think so - I expect the ships in the system would change. I'm going to have to try that.

Well, it'd look like the government took over the system in the course of hours/days. In a previous discussion, I think it was noted that the ncb changes wouldn't take effect untill the next takeoff/landing or hyperjump/wormhole/gate use.
It'd be my guess that the player would only know what happened if they were really looking for it/expecting it.

      A.

      That would work fine

I'll have to try that. If it ever works, it could prove VERY valuble option for my TC.
Hmm, its going to be a while before i'm going to be able to get around to testing though...

      Thanks for the help people!
