I'm constantly amazed at the number of add -on files and plug-ins. I've tried to
create my own but every time either the graphics are messed up or they are not there
at all. You guy got any tricks and tips you're willing to say?

Reading the EV/EVO/EVN Bible really helps in getting the graphics resources correctly numbered.

NovaTools actually forces you to organize your plugin ID's. If the graphic for your super-ultra-mega-gun doesn't have the correct ID # then NovaTools can't find it. I'm in the process of updating a rather large plug that I made for EVO with EV-Edit, and the ID's were totally messed up. I realize now why all hardcore developers hate ev-edit with a passion.

When I first started out, I looked at the Bible for EV, and opened up another plug-in with Res-Edit so that I could see how they did it. It really helps you understandt hings better. Thats my advice. Also learn your programs well.

I've found that reading the tutorials (www.ambrosiasw.com/games/evn/addons.html) is really useful for getting you started in plug making. While you're there, get the bible. The most useful resource for a plug builder ^_^
