    • An idea for a plug in..

Before i even start with an idea, is it possable to change the background in systems to something more than just stars? to like a planet's surface? If so, i was thinking of a total conversion plug where the whole universe is 1 big planet spread out, over different areas (systems), with different governments each fighting to take over the world, and you as a lone pilot who can change what happens. (sounds familier, doesn't it) i figured that with the background like a planet's surface, plantes and stations can be used like cities and bases, with defences and stuff like that. Only when you work for a government can you get bombs to blow the crap outta cities and bases.. anyone up for the challange if it's possable?

Aren't you ripping people off when you give them a penny for their thoughts and they give you their 2 cents?

You can get rid of the stars, and change the background colour on a system by system basis. With a bit more work, I believe you can change the stars to some other image. That's about it, though.

    • Sounds very familiar to a TC that my friend and I were thinking of making. Almost the same idea, except the ships would become ninjas and samurai. We had this whole thing planned out, but we have put it aside for now. If you need any ideas, or anything, or maybe problems with certain parts of planning, eMail me at wirehead@mac.com.
