      We could try testing this LAN thing at the lab by taking the switch out of the network and using that as a lan.

      how 'bout you do the test. it should work anyway. it works on my machine. you must be doing something wrong rebel. did you type in the ip of the machine in? it needs an ip. and i know ip means internet protocol. i haven't had the chance to muck around with just a plain ethernet network, but i thought they had ip's. you have to have an ip of the machine. open apple system profiler and under network settings it will tell you if you have an ip.

      it should work, i don't know if it doesn't.

      as for summer... what you talkin' 'bout willis? i mean puffy? i mean eytee? it's winter !!!

      of course you have to use an ip.
      otherwise it doesn't know where to go.

      on a side note:
      due to the fact that i have design and java assignmnets caming out my fingers and, occasionally, knees, a new version may be a while.
      give me some holidays and i'll fire something out.

      Hmmm, Tycho's attempt at multiplayer EVO has been lacking of late. Looks like it's time for good old A.Salami to put the boot in. He really should put a web site up. mac.com should work.

      Progresses sludges on, but MacOSX Helian Wars is just around the corner!!!!
