Hi! This is my first really big plugin (tc!) and there are some things I need help with. I'll keep this post as up to date as I can. You can read about my plugin at the upcoming plugins page
Here are my major problems
-System naming (I could use a name generator or something if you know what I mean)
-Ship graphics (maybe suggest good shipyard websites)

If i'm not mistaken, EV-Edit when unstuffed contained a folder called "Goodies". I believe there was a small app that gave you a generated list of names. This was in an early version of EV-Edit so I don't know if the later versions also come with this folder.(I'm currently using a modified Res-Edit) Only one way to find out!

if anyone can make graphics the ships I need will have to have the following.
-color scheme of grey with organic looking bits of dark blue
-I need big ships like carriers and warships (I have enough fighters)
-and they need to be pretty sleek. There aren't many bulky ships in this particular race.
and if someone could make weapons to go with them I would much appreciate it.

Well, if your services are free, (if they aren't, I understand but I am a begining plug-in maker and have NEVER posted a plug-in before.)can you make me a Confederation coler-coded ship that looks like two beaten up Rebel Crusiers with their noses attached at the point but there engines still pointing strait?

As someone has already said, there is a small application called "EV-Names" included in the EV-Edit package which does this job very well. You will need to create custom 'STR#' resources, however, or your systems will have the same names as 10,000 other plugs.

When you get your graphics from someone, they should hopefully have all of those included. I would suggest, for weapons and other stuff, doing them yourself - you get a little more control. The downloads came with those views but what I mean is with Res edit how do you make a ship have it's images associated with it in the game? One more quick question-How do you use flags?
