Greetings, I represent a group of ppl currently titled (NO NAME AS YET inc) and we have just begun producing a Plugin for the upcoming game EV:NOVA it promises to be a complete rewrite of the game and replace it with a whole new universe.
the plug-in is entited "TACHYON" and we need your help we want dedicatde people who are willing and able to do the following:
3D modelling
Help With Storylines
Help with outfits etc...
Have previous experience with EV or EVO.

BELOW IS THE GAME'S INTRO:
TACHYON INTRO:

300 years ago when the fusion drive was invented, the Greatships leapt into the heavens.
They flew ever onward as events on Earth overtook them.
The invention of the tachyon drive enabled ships to go from system to system in a matter of seconds, Man colonised the solar system and its surrounding systems within 50 years.
But still the Greatships flew on.
They saw sights never seen by anyone before.
They saw a Black Hole, stars be borne, and die .
Still they flew on
Now the year is 2400 and the Greatships have reached their final destination.
The very edge of the galaxy.
When the Greatships sent back the message “THERE IS LIFE”
The earth had changed as technology evolved, there had been the great war between Venus Corp and Jupiter Mining INC had left the solar system in tatters, The Earth Alliance was and still is fighting against the Rebellion determined to stand against democracy and lead the Galaxy into a Reign of Terror
Most recently a terrorist group called the Union of Free Traders has come into being.
The Greatships have been forgotten and the colonies they formed have been left stranded against an alien race they never expected.

You have just purchased your first craft with what little money you have
Now it is your turn to leap for the stars
Your Chance

Sounds interesting, (except for the Union of free traders wich sounds exactly like the Nova Pirates). I'de be willing to elp you guys out in some ways but I've got a "full plate" right now. I will gladly help with the graphics, but I doubt the seriousness of your plugin. You are proposing a TC, and not many of those that are proposed are completed. I am doing this only because I need something to do over the next 2 months, so give me your spec for a ship and I'll make it.

I not sure if I would be willing to be lead by someone who has -2 karma; I think is lowers the slim odds that the plug actually gets finished... I think you know what I mean... (I am not trying to be mean btw.)

Any way Me and a group of people have been planing this for some time now.
WE meet every day and disscuss story lines and ship ideas and anything else going on in our heads.
At the momment the staff list is:

Seriously though, it sounds like a cool plugin and I wish you luck with it. With a team of five people you should be able to turn something decent out if you all stick around.

Hint: Never post anything on the Nova board about you making a plugin. its no good they'll kill you.

as to your intro, unless you are planning on making all hyperspace jumps be less than a day by far as in the seconds you propose, then scrap it. besides it needs to be a little less wordy. I would help you with storyline but I am working on my own plugin.

I think it may be a while untill beta testing comes to mind, but i'll keep you in mind, now that i've been named Tachyon WebMaster. I will have the site fully operational once i get a few more features. Does anyone know a shareware webboard software i could use? The Ultimate Bulletin Board is nice, but i dont need that many features.

Things aren't going to calm down. Besides, IF this plug is finished, it wont be for a while anyways.

I think the last thing this developer group is going to have to worry about is how people will react to terrorists

I'm afraid I must agree with captain Scurvy on this matter. This plug is unlikely to make it as far as a mainstream following, and if it did, release at this point in time looks between 1 and 1,000,000 years away. By then, we hope, the political climate will have calmed down, and we will not have to cut an important, and above all, enjoyable part of our plug.
