Changes since last revision (4 January 2002):
ďntf resource:
A note that interface elements can be disabled by specifying them with rectangles of zero area.
mďsn resource:
A new dësc tag, <REG>, which will return the name of the game's registered owner.
nëbu resource:
A note on how the engine handles scaling nebulae images. You can now have up to seven images for each nebula scaled to various dimensions for map zooming. This is accompanied by a new entry in "Game Constants":
Quote
from the EV Nova Bible:
Max Images Per Nebula 4
(Editors Note: the reference to PICT IDs 9500-95 seems to be a typo; it should read 9500-9506 or something equivalent. Also, I'm not sure what the "4" in Max Images Per Nebula refers to - the nëbu resource's description implies that this value should be 7, unless i'm misreading.)
Oustanding Issues
-
The përs resource's "Aggress" field has note been clarified, despite Farscape1's (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/webboard/Forum26/HTML/002814.html")request(/url) for clarification.
-
The page's footer quotes the copyright as 1995-2001, although the main text now says 1995-2002. To be fair, this is a website problem, and falls under Andrew or David's domain, not Matt's.
-
No note on what happens when a shďp's "Fuel" field is set to 0, in terms of either flight or status bar behavior, as recently (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/webboard/Forum26/HTML/002845.html")discussed(/url). (Probably best to pair this with a special InherentGovt and an ďntf resource sans-fuel bar, as mentioned in this update)

No information on units the Afterburner's ModVal accepts (Units/second?)
Awesome stuff, Matt! Keep it up.
