    • Please read, very urgent!

I am 13 years old and I have been making a plug-in for 1 to 2 years (EVO TC), however, I haven't done much work at all, so I have now decieded to pass on my plug-in to someone else so that they can do what they want with it, all I ask is that they keep to the same story line, keep the graphics artists that I had, have made some plug-ins before, and give me one line of credit. The rest is up to them. Please post messages to this board. I will send what I have done of the plug-in to those who apply, and give the graphics artists e-mail addresses.

Sure Mr. Sean! If we do it together, it'll be done by two 12 year olds!

      I specalize in:
      •Graphics (partway)
•HTML/C/C++ (though none of those apply, I could design a site)
      •Systems design
      •Surfing the web
•A a bunch of other stuff. Tell me what you want done!

But, it would still have your work in it. So, it would be yours, too. Just a matter of how ya look at it. And, noboy EVER completely gives up on a plug. You will work on it again, I garentee it. I tried, but it didn't work.

Good point. Can you not post this as 'please read, very urgent' unless it actually IS urgent? Makes sense.

    • Yeah, if I had known this topic would be someone abandoning their plugin, I wouldn't have opened it. That's false advertisement, mister, punishable by a hefty fine. 😛

Untrue. The other ancients will probably remember Jay Tingley.

Heh. Back in the day, "Pull a Tingley" was a standard usage...

      Heh. 😉

Another notable example would be the long-forgotten prequel to Elite Frontiers.

Hell, "Vorinth" was even a verb.

Elite Frontiers: Solar Scenarios was not a prequel or a sequel, per se. It was a new universe (restricted to the nine planets) that used similar graphics and the author's notably unique approach to missions and ship upgrading. I expressed some interest in picking up the project after the author abandoned ship, and even went so far as to secure the original plugin. I don't think I still have it on my hard disk or e-mail archives, unfortunatly, but a solar-system local scenario (a la Terminus) would be appreciably easier to implement under Nova. Actually, it would put a quite interesting spin on gameplay. Mayhaps we ought to investigate this?

    • Okay, so that people stop reading this because they think it's urgent, I'm going to close this. Regulus etc - feel free to start a new topic (starting a new topic? regulus? Never!) as it sounds like a good idea...
