Heh. I spent hours and many days working on a Star Wars 2 bug fix, until I realized that every fix I implemented conflicted with another and it just got be a big pain in the neck, so I decided SW2 was beyond repair.

Although I'm probably not going to be developing a SW plugin with you, let me make a suggestion: Do ~NOT~ use EzBoard. There are many much better alternatives, like (url="http://"http://www.ikonboard.com")Ikonboard(/url) and (url="http://"http://www.phpBB.com")phpBB(/url). These are free, can be hosted anywhere you want, rather than slow EzBoard servers, don't have any popup ads or ads of any sort, are very configurable, especially if you either know Perl or PHP, or can find someone who knows Perl or PHP. However, you don't absolutely need to edit the Perl or PHP; the boards are very configurable even if you don't know those two languages.

Also, if you need help setting the board up, I can help you with that.

I don't know what all this EZ board stuff is, but I did, at one point, set up and customize (not easy at all, considering all the html I had to figure out and arrange correctly to get the Instant Boats bar in) a board from (url="http://"http://www.worldwidemart.com/scripts/")Matt's Script Archive(/url) that can be seen (url="http://"http://www.instantboats.com/wwwboard/wwwboard.html")here(/url).

If you're looking for graphics for a star wars plug-in, I have an old plug-in from the original EV, maybe you can pull the graphics off that. Look for it in the add on file ,it will be marked as "Old Star Wars plug-in".

If you are talking about Star Wars 2.0.5 or Star Wars 2 1.0.3, chances are that everyone posting here has it. Star Wars A New Alliance only had some useful sounds which I have stowed in a ResEdit file somewhere, but they're not that high quality...

I will set up the board when I get home, since I don't think I could find the time while I am here(on Vacation). That is if you don't want to do it. If the idea is concievable. Maybe we could all build our seperate SWTC's, for Nova or whatever, and combine them into one big plug with the best of everything. Good idea?

Perhaps, though various renditions of some main story lines being done will conflict. I guess we could decide which one of each story line is the best and create an open-ended universe, but that doesn't allow special things like the Han Solo character. We could allow additional plug-ins that modify the galaxy to make the player be Han Solo though... Actually, I guess it's a good idea.

If any of you Star Wars plug-in developers want a map of the Star Wars universe you might want to check this (url="http://"http://www.starwars.com/eu/news/1999/10/news19991007.html")link(/url). It's about a book in which a map is shown. And you can see the map allready on the page be it not very good. I don't know if the map is any better in the book itself but I thought I should mention it.

Yes it is better in the book(atleast larger) it's a really good set of books FYI. I would strongly sugguest reading them
