    • finding places

Ok, I'm having a bit of trouble finding a few places. First off, I can't seem to find Mesera anywhere in what I believe is Perugo Forest. It's the forest right south of the lake, with the termite nest at the southern tip, and the guy's get-a-way merchant shop, right? Near the "North Gidolan" cave entrance? Next up is the witch finger. That's the very very very skinny peninsula west of the Plains of Endlesswinds, right? Lastly, where's Dernath? I can't find any mention of it other than from the commander of the guards who gave me the quest. Any help on any of these would be much appreciated.

      Thanks!

    • 1. Mesera is in an underground crypt on the same screen as that merchant. You need to find a button in the cave to get to him.

      2. The Witch Finger and the Witch can only be gotten to by taking the cave as the westernmost area. Watch out for the gargoyles in it. Yes, it is to the west of the PoEW.

      3. Dernath is findable by going north from Fantrima, then heading east as soon as you see the bridge. Once you go a few screens east, go south. Dernath is there.

    • Thanks! I figured there was some way to get that door in the crypt open that I hadn't figured out yet. I assume Nehair Owlwood is in that crypt by the swamp of gosts, and there's some trick to getting past the first level there as well?

    • I was wondering where the bleeding forest is? Thank you

    • I found Mesera accidentally(and without a quest. Is that bad?) while looking for the Order of Crystal(Which I still can't find.) Anyone wanna drop a hint as to where the Order is?

    • Go west from the tunnel under the lake to reach the order of the crystal. Look for a big skull.

I cant find the witches on the witches finger? I've been out there, all the way out to the travelling tunnel at the very tip, but there doesn't seem to be anything out there other than stone golems or whatever they are. You can kind of see an island to the south, but I have no idea how to get to it.

    • Go back to the cave and go south. There will be another exit.
Another question: Where's the key to the crypt at the entrance of High Garendall? I got the Tome of Elixers quest, but its kinda hard to find the Tome if you can't get into High Garendall...

    • nwa, the key is on the top level of the learning tree. you will need to complete the evil ring quest before you can get to the top level.

    • Another question: Where is the boat captain's statue? Is it in the thieves cave?

    • Yet another question, as I appear to be stuck now. Where is the key for the interior cave in High Garendall? The one after the first temple/tier of HG, where there are like 5 dark spirits (I assume that's what they are, ghosty purply things) waiting around the mouth of a cave. I got in to the cave, but there's a large ornate gate at the bottom level, and I can't find any keys. I've gone back over the whole cave, I think, so what was I supposed to do before this that I didn't? Did I miss a chest or something? I found one secret passage to the left of the big gate, but there's no key in there. (And I think I should have leveled up more, I keep getting killed by the things in the cave.) Urgh. Becoming tedious, I need to get more hit points.

    • The thieves that took the captain's statue are south of Berglum.

    • I am having difficulty finding the Harp, the quest which Katrina sends you on after you rescue her husband. Is it the molespider cave? Or that rock with no opening? I followed the instrtuctions but I can't seem to find it.

Go north from Fantrima as if you are trying to go to the learning tree. When you see a sign in the road telling you the camp is north and fantrima is south, , go west. You'll see a thicket of trees, but you can walk through it to get to the hidden cave.

Thanks a lot. I thought "directly west" meant northwest-ish. 🙂 Also, what exactly does Pathfinding do? Thanks again.

Don't worry. I ran into the same exact problem. Don't go into that cave, but go east. Thats where High Garendall is. 🙂

Yep, I figured that out eventually. I hadn't gone east, I was finishing up exploring the first area. Actually, it was a blessing in disguise, as I leveled up in the cave, so when I came back at the very end I had to clear it out again and got even more XP. Ah well, finished now. Thanks!

    • I have 2 last questions:
      1. I just found the High Garendall flag. Should I take that back to Septembris before I fight the guardian?
      2. Where is the guardian? It said a cave to the west, but the only one I could find was the one where the Tome of Elixers was found. Is that the cave?

      1. Yes, you should. Being a knight certainly helps.

      2. In the cave on the plain before the road to H.G. The Guardian is four levels down, in his own separate screen, guarded by legions of minotaurs, mindeaters, and death knights. Good luck. 🙂

I can't find a dark fairy. I don't even have a clue where to look...
