      What do I need to put sounds into a plug? How is it done?

      Well, if you don't have ResEdit and a sound-editing program like (url="http://"http://www.riccisoft.com/soundeffects/")SoundEffects(/url), you'll need to get those first. Once you have them, use the sound program to convert your sound to an11.1Hz, 8 bit, mono sound so you can use it with EV/O. Then, open up your plug, paste it in, and give it the proper ID number. If you're replacing a sound from EV/O, open up the EV/Override Sounds file to figure out the ID of the sound you're replacing. If it's a whole new sound, just give it and unused ID (keep in mind that if it's a weapon, it must have an ID of 200-263). If it IS a weapon you're making, you then go and set the "sound" field to be 0-63. (Just subtract 200 from the sound's actual ID.) And there you go! Let me know if you need more info.

      You can also record sounds with the Sound control panel, provided with your system software. Simply open the control panel and record a new sound. Give it a name. The sound file will be inside the system suitcase in the System Folder.
