I was flying around in my Crescent Fighter, and the idea of strafing popped into my head. I attempted to try it on my enemy (Igazra) and did not work very well, without taking too much time to correctly perform the move, or get hit. So I thought for a while, and I came up with what I thik is a cool idea. What about Strafing Engines? It would be an add-on, quite expensive (3.5 Million) and be somewhat heavy (12 tons). They would allow you to strafe left or right depending on the button you push. This, obviously, needs it's own command, thus an addition to the Controls page. Is this do-able?

Who says that it can't be done? Lets get Matt Burch in on this and see how he can help, I mean it might be possible, but on the other hand it might not be, so lets get the original creator (aka EV god aka Matt Burch) to give the final Yes or No.

Ok, let me clear this up, I'm only asking Burch to tell us if it is "possible" to modify the game to allow for "strafing", it is just a question, NOT A REQUEST, ONLY A QUESTION. I agree with JediBrass. KeeperOfS, if you were Matt Burch then I wouldn't be arguing, but you aren't. He said he wouldn't moderate it. That doesn't mean he will never visit the board again for the rest of his life. It means he won't be on it all the time. He can still come and visit and answer a question or two if it asked. And, I am not a newbie either. I don't know what you consider a newbie is, but me nor JediBrass are newbies. So back off.
