    • Problem with New Main Screen PICT

      I'm in the process of making a very large plug-in for EVO 1.0.2. Right now I've just completed the new Main Screen PICT, by just adding on a few things to the original one. I didn't enlarge it, just changed what it looked like a bit. However, when I tried it out, it was offset screwed everything up. How do I fix this? I didn't make it any bigger yet it still screwed up. I need help with this desperately. I hope to publish the plug-in soon.

      Another, unrelated, question is how come you can't get the Voinian Missions after you've already done the UE Dreadnaught Missions? I also need to know that if I am to publish my plug-in soon.

      (Probable) Answer to your first question: Clut resource
      Answer to your second question: (Official reason) because the Voinians don't like you helping the UE 🙂 (real reason) Mission bits, mission bits, and more mission bits.

      Speaking of Clüt, could we somehow use the picture that we want the clut to work for automaticly make the clut?

      well then you have to (un)set the propor clrbits in the misn rescource. i think.

      Yes and No. No you can't make EV automatically make the clut, but yes you can use the picture to make the clut. just open up the picture in photoshop (or something that can save cluts and do fair dithering) select the "Image" menu (this is for Photoshop 4.0 BTW) go down to "Mode" and select "Indexed color..." select "Adaptive" as your palette. then once your done with that, go back to "Image" - "Mode" and select "Color Table" then just export the color table as <whatevertheheckyouwantthenametobe>.clut, open up your plug in EVO (you should copy the clut rescources from "Override Titles" into your plug first) then open up the correct clut resource and select the "load colors..." from the "clut" menu.

      Actually, photoshop cannot make cluts, however, it's shareware counterpart Graphic Converter can. Get it (url="http://"http://www.lemkesoft.com")here(/url).
