      Hello everybody. I'm a new member of Mascot but pretty advanced with it. Could someone please tell me how you make the words on a sign?? Thanks a lot! 😕

      1. Fetch ResEdit.

      2. Hack open your level set, and hunt down the "STR#" resource.

      3. Create an ID 500 if it doesn't exist already. Leave it be if one's already there.

      4. Create a new line by choosing the menu option "Insert New Field(s)". Type in your sign name there.

      5. Take note of the number that labels your new sign.

      6. In MASCOT, get info for the new sign object. In INFO(0), enter the number from step 5.

      Ta-da! Brand spanking new sign! 🙂

      Take note that books, plaques, and characters all use conversations instead of the sign resource.
