    • ARRRGGH! Bloody VisBits!

They don't work! I just don't know what to do anymore!

I'm really annoyed. I know almost everything do with plug programming but I can't get VisBits to work! I set them, and they appear over the planet I put them on, but the planet is still there as well!

Now then, I've heard that say I have a VisBit, eg. 146. I use it in the (Bit Set) field for systems. Do I just put a '1' in front of it for the (bit cleared) field? If not, what do I do?

Please explain in detail. I sound like a bloody newbie now.

Sigh. Why do crap jokes exist?

    • I think the '1' in front of the bit number indicates that the bit must be cleared. At least, that's the case for missions, and it's probably true for these things too.

" Edible, adj. Good to eat, and wholesome to digest, as a worm to a toad, a toad to a snake, a snake to a pig, a pig to a man, and a man to a worm."--Ambrose Bierce, The Devil's Dictionary

    • Yep.

if BitSet is 146, that bit MUST be SET for the planet to appear.

if the BitSet is 1146 then that bit MUST be CLEAR for that planet to appear.

      Same for systems.

      And you don't add 1, you add 1000. 146+100=1146
