    • POG Grafix?

I'm not sure if this should be here or the Coldstone web board... After debating for hours and- you get the point ,I put this topic here.

Here's what I'd like to know: First, what program was used for making the sprites for POG? It was a 3D program right?

And, How much time was spent in the making of these sprites?

I'd LOVE to make my own sprite but I just CAN NOT make a human like object, not even close. I can make objects just fine; it's just the organic objects that get me stuck. Does anyone have any ideas? I know alot of you will suggest the library that comes with Coldstone, but this won't cut it, they are VERY specific bosses etc. Thanks for your time,

      Whoops! Forgot the PS...

PS: If possible I would like my graphics to look like Battles Realms (See: (url="http://"http://www.battlerealms.com")www.battlerealms.com(/url)), as the game will take place in feudal Japan.

Can't help you there. I personally think that if you don't have artistic talents(like me, as I have trouble drawing a straight line) then art programs really aren't going to be very helpful to you. Trust me, I have some nice ones. 🙂 But they won't draw what you want; they only draw what you make them draw. And that is where the talent comes in. So I would recommend finding someone who can draw and see if they would be interested in doing some work for you.

      Good luck.

Thanks for your help... When you say 'Graphics programs' what do you mean? I have Lightwave and Maya (I can't use Maya because I have a G3 not a required G4!), maybe if I learn to use these programs I can get my graphical work done... I don't know... But if my games are ever going to make it off the bleedin' ground I will need to make my own sprites; I couldn't hire someone because I can't even draw concept art. - SIGH! - Thanks again,

Both these Programs So complicated that Collage courses are designed around teaching the basics of thier use plus they cost Thousends of dollars, so your better off hiring some as Stark said.

      good luck
