In the process of working on another project, I found that it easier to work with EV plugin data in a spreadsheet form than using ResEdit. It's not that ResEdit is hard or anything; it's just that putting the data into a spreadsheet allowed me to view it in different ways and to change values in multiple places.
ANYWAY, I made an applescript application that can read any EVO data file or plugin, and will create a text file containing tab deliminated resource info. It makes a different file for each resource. You can either drop a plugin onto the application, or select the file you want through a window interface. If I have time tonight, I'm going to make something that will take those text files and make a plug in from them.
The reason I mention all this is that, if people think something like this might be useful, I can post a url that they can be downloaded from. If enough people seem interested, I'll see about getting them onto the EVO utilities page. Otherwise, I'll just post them for those that want to download them.
