    • spiin graphics mixed up- How do I fix it?

When I play EVGE, most of the ships look like bulk freighters, but I can tell that they are not, because the tech specs and target graphics remain normal. I'm sure lots of people have had thi problem. How do I fix it?

Actually, no you don't have to reinstall. Turn down or turn off Virtual Memory and/or RAM Doubler. EVO seems to be sensative to VM/RD if you give VM/RD too much extra RAM. At least, this has fixed the problem every time I've encountered it (on a varietey of machines). It also has NOTHING to do with EVO's memory allowcation (in the Get Info box).
      Probably.

    • This problem was on a G3 at school with 128 megs of RAM. I don't think it uses VM or RD.

    • Up the memory allocation to EVO. If you increase it only a little the ships above a certain ID# will be seen as that #, the more you increase the higher the #.
