    • Saphire problem

I have downloaded saphire twice from the Abbrosia page and have had no luck with it at all. The file downloads, but will not decompress. Stuffit Expander does not believe that the file is compressed at all. Is there another place to download this file? Is the plug-in for Windows only, and does not work on Mac?

As long as I am here, does anyone know when the new CDs will be available and how to get one to replace the one I got earlier?

      Thanks,
      Elrond

2 things to try. First check the file size of what you downloaded to what it is supposed
to be as per its listing on Ambrosia's server. If there is a large difference you may
not have gotten the whole file(I've heard of some browsers quitting after downloading
      only a portion).

If you have the entire file check your stuffit expander version. If you have a version
number less than 6.5.1 then go get the latest upgrade. If the plug-in was compressed
using a newer version than the expander that you have, you won't be able to uncompress
it. Grab 6.5.1 from aladdin's web site: http://www.stuffit.c...r/download.html

Not sure when they will be available, but I would assume soon since the coldstone cd's
are out and they contain POG with the trinity plug-in and the movies, and it all works
      just fine.

As to how to get one send mail to help@ambrosiaSW.com and let them know you ordered a
cd and that the one you recieved was one of the damaged ones, and they will put you on
the list to send a new cd to when they are available.

Good luck. If your downloading problem gets resolved let us know what "fixed" it.

Stuffit Expander opened it up just fine for me and also I have it on both my G3 mac and my powerbook 3400 so, yes it works fine on Macs, at least my two. 🙂

Do you have the latest version of Stuffit expander?

You have to request a new copy from Ambrosia to replace the defective one that was first sent out. I have yet to receive my corrected copy so I am about to send a follow up e-mail as well in case I messed up the first one I sent. I suspect that things may be just a bit backlogged at ASW at the moment what with the problems they had with the original PoG CD and then the release of Coldstone. Send them an e-mail requesting a new copy to replace your defective one and try to be patient. ASW is a good, reliable company in my opinion and I'm sure they will make good on getting you a good CD of Pog as soon as they can.

    • Stark's right about the browsers. I had to sit there and watch it download the entire PoG file to make sure it didn't screw up.

Tell me, why do you wear a mask?
Oh, its just that they're terribly comfortable, I think that everybody will be wearing them in the future.

    • Well, it turn out the file stopped downloading 10k shor of completion. I just downloaded it again and all is fine. Thanks for the suggestion.
