    • Ann: EVO Developer's Map 1.15

      I have updated (url="http://"http://members01.chello.se/warlordpontus/ev/evomap.html")EVO Developer's Map(/url) to version 1.15.

      • You can now change govt, dudes, message and visbit of multiple systems at the same time
      • You now have the option of changing the govt of its spobs when you change the govt of a system
      • Systems can now be color-coded after commodity prices
      • When systems are colored after tech level uninhabited systems will become gray
      • Added a picker for custom landing picts
      • It should be a bit more obvious how to choose government colors

Good job, Pontus. I think this is the best plug development tool yet, (not least because we can now finally trash EV-Edit πŸ˜„ ) Everything looks good. I like the commodity style view for the map, that will be a big help in setting up trade routes. The improved govt color selection option makes the settings easier to find. The landing pict selection option is a grest innovation, glad you thought of it. The EVO Developers' Map should be a real boost for plug-in developers, and I recommend it to everyone who wants to add or edit systems and spΓΆbs in a plug.

Now if someone would only develop an application that would write spob descriptions for me...

      now. Now that I'm
      here, I have to start
      over or else I've got
      nothing to do.

work!!! i can't edit spobs with this πŸ˜› could you make it so i could

But it was you who thought of it! I just coded it. Is this some covert way of pointing out I don't give enough credit? πŸ˜‰

      Formula:
(Spob name) is a world of (adjective) (noun pl.), where (noun pl.) (adverb) (verb).

      Result:
Jgasfhn is a world of specific falcons, where books insidiously reject.
Hgregj is a world of moral profits, where badgers purely slice.

Hmm, may require some fine tuning...

No it's an overt way of boosting my ego, letting people know I actually had an idea. Of course ideas alone are rather useless unless they are acted upon, for instance by writing code to implement an idea.

Maybe a little tuning, but those are better than most of my first efforts.
