      That was a mouthful. 🙂

      Hi, I am quite new to the Mac scene and I would like to know the minimum system required to play PoG. I assume iMac and such would have no problem but what about pre-G3 Power Macs? I mean, they ARE Power PCs... but can they handle the game given enough ram?

      I would really appreciate simple system specs (such as 6500/200/64...etc). Thank you!

      From POG's web page:

      Requires: Mac: PowerPC Only, OS 8.1 or later, or OS X

      I personally am running POG on a PowerPC 9600/233 and it runs just fine. Periodically
      I have pauses when I save my game or load inventory, but it typically runs just fine.

      I would expect the slower the machine the more pronounced the above would be, and the
      more frequently it would occur.

      But it should at least run on any powerpc that is running OS 8.1 or higher. Just may
      not run "well."
