All right. I've finished that stupid assignmnet. Turned out pretty well actually.

How's the 30th(australian) for everyone? Too late? How about you a;ll just make suggestions and then we'll come to a concensus.

I've pretty much added all the network stuff for two players and a little chat thing. That's it for the moment. For those that noticed the name change that is because the only ships I really like in EVO were the earth renagade ships. So I'll try put all of them in for us to muck around with. Does anyone have a list of stats for those ships? ie. turning speed, acceleration, etc.

Must be off, I still have to hand the assign in.

Ok. the 30th will be fine. i guess. just depends on the time. what time zone are you in? I might not be able to go on from 6 ~11PM my time(which if we're lucky is the same as your time zone). Here are the stats as in Res-Edit

OK everyone open there map or date and time control panel and change over to brisbane or sydney, Australia. Now check your watches and see how much time difference there is. Then we need to decide a time. I'm thinking 8:00pm 30/6.

Slower powermacs should be fine. I'm running off a powermac 6200/75. Just make sure your modem is at least 28.8. You could probably have slower modems for the game but you'll probably be last to download it.

The build will be fat meaning 68k and powermac compatible. If you want a windows build email me at n.kirkwood@student.qut.edu.au, I shpould be able to whip something up.

Sorry to lose you for a bit Wham! How can you be young and going to college? Must be one of those cultural differences.

There isn't actually a team to speak of so don't worry. I'll keep you posted.
I haven't done the kraits but the turncoats are now up. And a semi-shop where you can buy them as well.

Is there going to be another date after the 30th? Because that is bad for me. However, most other times after that are all right. Right now, I am on vacation. But if you could send me the latest build at ddohler@mac.com, I will be able to test any time after the 3rd of July, I think.

I'm young as in....<shock> <horror> 12 since April :redface:.I currently hold the title for the youngest known person on any ambrosia game as well as on Bolo and Starcraft (The other person is Plastic Chicken on Avara who's barely 13)

Please, how about 8 pm GMT (No idea what time on the other side of the world) on the 29 (Tomorrow).Send me the latest build with the turncoat etc.. for tomorrow, someone PLEASE !!!!!!

Sorry Lance you missed the cut. Only kidding. I have absolutely no idea on how I'm going to do this. The current network build has not been tested at all and will most likely not work. If you guys can handle this then great, otherwise I may have to move the date back a bit. Any objections, suggestions?

Tycho, is there an FTP or web site you could upload the builds to? That way you wouldn't have to send out individual emails. Or you could use the iDisk public folder. If everyone has OS 9, or doesn't mind figuring out how to use it with pre-9 systems (I know it's possible down to about 7.x). Just an idea to simplify your life. But feel free to send me builds. I won't be able to test until Monday or Tuesday, but I have done a couple of tests with Ambrosia, so I have no problem with things that don't work. Not that that happened with any of Ambrosia's products, of course.

HW seems to have problems with steering.

Not exactly an net-ev but it is networked and the ships are from EV>
it's more like something like asterax except you fight eachother.
