    • Right I need help, first, as many of you may know, I am making a TC plug-in for EVO, I have got quite far, and I have started a couple of missions, one of my missions has a canabort field with a 0 in it, but I can still abort it, why?
And second, I hope that in EVO 1.0.2 they use visbits for the planets as well.

      Bye
P.S. Look at the sig 😉

    • If you read the evo bible, you'll notice that the CanAbort field is currently ignored. In other words, it doesn't really do anything.

Also, no, the spobs don't have visbit fields in 1.0.2. Then again, why do you need them? You should have ample room to duplicate any systems/spobs that are changed. Simply make a copy of all the applicable systems and spobs, change the ones you're going to change, and adjust the new ones to line up correctly. Just look in the Override Data files for examples (I forget which one stores spobs and systs, but they shouldn't be too hard to find.)

    • The CanAbort field has to do with failed missions. From the annotated EVO Bible:

      CanAbort
0 Mission can’t aborted, and if it fails the mission remains in
the list; you must go to the stellar where you first got
it to get the mission again (unless the failure set a bit
that made the mission impossible to get).
Nonzero Mission can be aborted at any time. Also, the mission "goes
away" and becomes inactive at the moment it fails (e.g.
you're scanned when you aren't supposed to be, etc.).
