My 1.0.2 plug is going great except for one thing - Government names. I seem to have the ability to make great descriptions for any thing, and have about 200 planet and systems names, but governments don't come to me. If any one has any ideas for any, please respond. Also, whoever thought of the name Morvidians, please tell me who you are, as i have forgotten and wish to include your name in my plug.

Also anyone who wishes to be a person in my plug, please tell me so i can use your name.

Any other ideas anyone has for me, post that as well, i could always use a good idea

Can't help with that, I suck at making names. One suggestion: if you have a copy of EV-Edit, there is a utility called "EV Names" included with it; this little program will generate a list of names. It was intended to make names for systems and spobs, but should do as well for govts if you modify the text strings it uses to generate names. many of the text strings it generates may be gibberish, but there should be enough usable 'words' for what you need.

Well, depends on if the govts are human or alien.
If they are human first think what kind of government they have.
Aliens are usually named after their home worlds. I'll post some ideas later, gotta go eat.

If you put me in your plug, I'll put you in Great War. You already are in Satori Station. (if you don't remember you were a beta tester). One of the random names for the Confed Carrier prototype is USS Champion

I have a little problem with EV Names, just the fact that they SUCK!

I have not had one decent name out of that program yet.

Names...I made up...=)

Kedar, Jasdish, Dracta, Almarian, Arconian, Shivian, Thallian, Ferazai, Garzai, Byran, etc...All Alien names. Just off the top of my head.

Do what I do. Open up a good Atlas of the World and go to a page that contains an area far away that you know knothing about. Now look at the names of the cities,towns, rivers, mountains and other areas. Foreign names have the knack to sound very alien and sci-fi after you tweek them a bit by adding a letter or two.

Here is an alien Race name I though up- Scraxel. If you decide to use it, you could make me a Përs in your plugin. (Yes it may be pathetic just posting one name!)
