To all who have ever played CompuWars:

I am the author of CompuWars. It's been...what, 6 months?...since I last modified it, too, so it's gathering cobwebs on my hard drive as well as on my website. I checked out Override's new site and found my plug-in, listed on the third or so page. Its rating wasn't, shall we say, the greatest. Something in the range of 40 (it is now 55 because I voted too - a mother must flatter their child, after all).

So, to any who have tried "my work": what did you like? What didn't you like? How far did you get in the missions? Any bugs? What should be added? (i)Anything(i) of commentary would be appreciated. It's pretty good. Some weapons ans spins are buggy, but it's pretty good. Havn't played it in months, so can't say which specific ships and weapons.

I can make one more update, I think, of just bug fixes. If I can find someone who can make better sprites, I'll definitely take the opportunity. What's planned for 1.0.2:

• New music
• General bug fixes

As you can see, it leaves something to be desired.

Hmmm...are you sure you have the latest version? The prime reason I released 1.0.1 ('bout six months ago) was to fix a mission bug relating to that. I hear OV's official site has a wrong URL; if that's the case, head on over to my site

Anyway, I am rereleasing it soon as Crusaders. (Just trying to stake my claim to a name.)

Thanks; it's not like I would sue you for copyright infringement or anything :). I've heard of it (from a past post).

Another similarity I've encountered is that there is a company out there called CompuWare. I hope they do not discover EV Override and sue me.

Sorry to say, you're not famous - but I'm not either.

It was one of your posts. The reason I noted it was because I was searching for the keyword "CompuWars" in past postings, and this was brought up. You were asking for help (I think) and you mentioned the name, "CompWars." Someone else wrote back stating there was a similar plug-in (ie, mine) out already.
