I am interested in making custom landscapes for landing pictures. How is this generally done?

      Thanks.

    • This is generally done with a landscape creator program that costs more than I make in a year (which isn't that much, considering I don't have a job).
You may want to ckeck out Bryce or something similar.

Can you import Specular files into a landscape?

      No, not in Bryce.

    • That depends... Bryce can't import "Specular" format, but it can import some generic types ... see what formats Specular can export to. In revising ship graphics for Secession 1.5, I exported from StrataVision in DXF format so that I could import them into Bryce. It didn't work perfectly, but it worked well enough for my purposes. Give it a shot.
