    • I'VE PORTED SCHMELTA-V TO EVO!

Pipeline, please don't kill me. Anyways, the instructions:

Create a new ResEdit file. Open it with ResEdit and change the type to MDät and the creator to Mërc. Then paste the mďsn, përs and düde resources from EVO into the file. Re-name it EV Data and you can open it with Schmelta. Then, create a new plug-in. When you've finished a mission, just paste it into your EVO plug-in with ResEdit.

    • Woops, you should probably just put every resource into the new Data file.

    • That's pretty much what I've been doing. 🙂 However, if you have any existing resources, sometimes Shmelta will puke and destroy your data kinda like EV edit. I'm still holding out for Pipeline. 🙂

    • Woah, I didn't know anyone else had noticed this. I obviously must've missed something :frown:.

    • You also havta go in and change the abort text, refuse a misn sometime and look what happens, a black screen,

When using Schmelta, as I do sometimes, you have to go thru ResEdit and change 4 lines to kill ALL the bugs.

You can always use ResEdit and edit the Schmelta data fork and make it make the code 'MDat and Merc'.

    • Ah, I'll wait for mďssionEdit.

    • Micah, that's a sweet hack. Kudos to you!

MďssionEdit is still going here; I've got no plans to back off. 😄

      best,

      pipeline...

    • When will MďssionEdit be out?

      ------------------

    • I think that question qualifies as DamnFine™. I'm not sure, but it'll be as soon as possible.

      Hang tight...

      pipeline.
