is there any program that will enable me to run EV and EVO on a windows computer???? my old power mac finally died, and i'm too cheap/lazy to look for another right now.

There is a plugin TC for Nova, that lets you play override using the Nova engine. You can find it here (its the last one on the page): Click here

There's also some Mac emulators out there, but Nova is your best bet, really.

Via the ports to Nova, yes. Without using Nova, no.

My WinZip is telling me that rEV for windows is an invalid archive. Any ideas?

Note that the download of rEV comes in three parts, and you need to have all 3 parts of the archive in one place before it will unzip.

OK, I have all three files. I tried using WinZip and ZipCentral, I can unzip the third one but not the second or first.

You can play an EV:O total conversion in the Nova Engine, under OSX (or Windoze)... Just don't be cheeky and start selling captured escorts!

If you're a purist, EV:O runs perfectly under Classic (OS9 emulation), as well.

Depends on the version of X.

I don't believe you can, but I never tried getting the Forklift with the EVO plug, so others will have to be more specific, if anyone knows.

Sadly, no. At one point I did add a way to get it but I wasn't happy with it and later removed it.

It wont allow me to sell off escorts.... that sucks so hard it blows!

This feature didn't exist in the original Override so it is hidden in the port. You can actually still sell them by pressing S.
