You just need to abort the mission before you try to board it is all. However, you lose all the fancy über Voinian weapons if you try to outfit it yourself (the weapons have no assigned outfit resources), so you're best off capturing them as escorts.

How do you propose to get both the Enhanced Arada and the Plasma Siphon? I'm aware that you can do the Igadzra and Zidagar Strings together, but I thought that the Azdargi string was mutually exclusive to the others no matter what you do?

If I recall, there is just enough time to start A and I and do both of them as well as Z and I. It requires never landing for fuel between Kitrak and Akrayhek, and beyond, but pretty sure it's doable :).

Well, if you're going to try, you'd best have the UE Marine Gear and escorts with a lot of Crew (Voinian Cruisers come to mind). Once you capture a few Dreanaughts, it becomes much easier to capture the rest; trust me.

Thanks for the enlightenment. I need to try that. I thought it might have only been possible with a plug-in, but I guess not. Still, won't the odds of capture be way against you when you try to capture it the first time around?

Yes. It will take many, many tries, unfortunately. However, once you succeed, all the hard work will make the victory seem even sweeter than it ought to be (at least, thats what it felt like to me!).
