      I may be newish, but I believe the correct procedure is to use either the Personal Message feature, or the Report button. Preferably the PM, I think...

      I edited the poll in question and purposefully left this topic open because it was harmless. On slower boards, topics are only locked if they violate web board policies in a way that is detrimental to the board itself. On higher volume boards I can understand more strict policies, however here there is no such need.
