when missions collide...

I'm playing the Override plug-in for Windows EVN. (And thank you!)

I started the Ski Resort thread. I was sent to investigate a missing ship.
I searched many surrounding areas but I never found the ship.
While searching in bars for clues pertaining to that ship, I stumbled onto the River Eels thread.
I was sent to a spot to "intercept" a crate, but what is "intercept"? I waited, I hailed passing ships, I approached ships -- am I supposed to start pirating Miranu traders?
I'm stuck: I don't know what to do about the crate of River Eels, and I don't know how to find that missing ship belonging to the Ski Resort group.

Missing ship is in an uninhabited system a few jumps southwest of Mirava.

River eels mission starts you off working for the Igadzra so you should decide if you want to join them before you finish it - I don't remember about 'intercepting a crate' though, from memory it was just deliver river eels to Igadzra; unless it's a different mission, in which case it is most possible that you'll be supposed to pirate the Miranu Freighter ... I just can't remember this one :(.

'intercept' ususally means disable a ship and then take its contents. In that mission it's probably a miranu freighter or something.
