    • Bug?


      I'm playing the windows EVO port for nova and after I'm offered the mission for the plasma siphon I press the "secondary weapons selector" button (W) and i have no siphon!!! I feel sad :frown: has this happened to anybody else?

    • Check to make sure 'w' selects weapons.
      Do you have the mission where you need to destroy the Adzgari warship? If not, you don't have the siphon yet.
      Hit 'p' to check your extras, and see if it's there.

      Otherwise... iDunno.

    • I checked everywhere and yes I do have the mission to kill the A.S.S Incision... I want my plasma siphon :frown:

    • It is a bug. See (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/webboard/Forum8/HTML/005068.html")this(/url) topic, and install the mentioned plug.

    • Ok I did try installing that plug and trying it again but it didn't work. I tried buying a new ship but that didn't work either (explains lack of pwnage of my ship at this point) Here's my pilotlog if it's any help:

    • Hm. If you installed a fix plug and it was working correctly, its name should appear in your pilotlog right after the line that reads "Plugins loaded:" (where else?). At least that is what happens on a mac....

      For the mission that grants you the siphon to work correctly, you have to load the "Missions Fix" plug that is on my E.S.W.P. site, and the plug has to be in place before you do the mission. you might have to go back to an older version of your pilot file.

      To avoid having the siphon disappear once you've got it, you also need the "outfits fix" plug (also on my site). The Missions Fix is available in a Windows version, but the Outfits Fix has to be converted using the mac-to-pc plug converter that comes with Nova for Windows.

      If the plugs are in the Plugins folder but don't have the right icons, you might need a different version of Stuffit.... I don't see how that would keep the Missions Fix from working, since it is zipped.

    • It's wierd because i also have cold fusion installed and THAT works fine but it doesn't show up on my pilot log and... I've been playing the whole game with those two fixes.

      Very strange indeed. You're sure Cold Fusion is working, right? You should have 6 plugs with names starting with "CFN" in your plugs folder, and your screen should look like the images in the right-hand column on (url="http://"http://home.comcast.net/~drtrowel/CFNScreenshots/cfn_vs_evo.html")this(/url) page.

      Regarding the issue of the missing pilotlog entries, I've started (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/webboard/Forum9/HTML/005558.html#")a topic on the Dev Corner board(/url) to see if anyone there has an idea.

    • yeah cold fusion is working right... i got all six plugs in the folder and it looks EXACTLY like it should look and in the pictures... well over to the developers corner for me!
