      Could I have perhaps an acknowledgement from double_zero and Cade Smart? I know that Mazca is away for personal reasons and therefore is unavailable for contact for the time being, but I would like to hear how you are going along with the stuff I gave you.       Argh. And I havent even read the Adzgari ones because its 20+ pages in Word, much less correct them. I have only read to mission 8....

      To those proofing and critiqueing my mission descs:

      Unfortunately, I only have 15 out of the first 20 or so Zidagar missions written out. So don't expect anything for maybe another week or so. Apparently, some people don't like melodrama, and some do, so please tell me what you think about the missions in this regard (I don't think that anything that is painful to read because it is so emotional or otherwise should make it to the final cut).

      If you feel that I am sending you too much too quickly, by all means tell me. I want this to be a pleasurable experience for all involved.

      Yes, all the descs required for 100+ missions have been written out. Perhaps 300 more or so to go (+ planet, bar, ship, and outfit descs). I hope this shows commitment (after all, I am not planning on giving this up). Perhaps I will even be able to ask Dreamwave Studios to model a few ships for me (I would die from delight if that happened).

      I'd be /willing to proof-read some of your text. I hardly ever check my email, but it will be a good start t getting used to doing it regularly 😛 also, I designed a simple outline of a ship, nothing fancy, but with some 3d rendering and coloring, it could be pretty cool.

      I guess it shouldnt be too quíck, but it is. You sent me the first 2 two (UE Navy and UE spec. ops) on the 19 th July. I took them to the summer camp, and read them while in car to the village, but didnt correct them as the activities there were more exciting. Then on Saturday I corrected to 5 th because I was bored when it was last day of camp, but no more. Then when I returned on 27 th July, I wanted to play WinNova I had downloaded on 13 th. I could finally play more often than every two weeks! Then you sent me the Adzgari texts on 3 th August, which were yet more 23 pages to read. I had a cruise to Tallinn with family and a relative on 5 th to 7 th. 5 days later, I get Miranu texts and 3 days later Zidagar. If I just cant skip some, correcting will be impossible. They will a mega-E-Mail that will be a one A4 long and take 3 hours to write. I guess I have failed because of your different style from Bomb. I just read mission texts and E-Mailed any typos. Playing whenever I wanted, and only spotted typos if they seeable from the text. I didnt have to read more than a few boxes for each mission, as opposed to 20 pages of document text. They scare me :redface:, even if you have given me a week to read them each time. Ofcourse, I should have expected this because it was beta. This was only alpha, and we arent supposed to play alphas because theyre very buggy and incomplete.

      Finally! Just back from the Smokey Mountains. I will continue working on this as school starts (how much I get done depending on how much free time I have, of course).

      General Cade Smart:

      I can understand how 100+ pages of typed-up stuff can be hard to go through (after all, I had to check through each file myself before I sent it out). If you'd rather, just send me anything you have done so far. When I release a beta, I'll ask if you want to help me correct and beta-test again, and then you can decide.

      I received e-mail from double_zero. I'm glad to hear that work is progressing. If you have any questions or comments, by all means feel free to respond.

      I'm buggered out with school and moderating another board...

      Anyway though, I've caught an extremely small amount of errors in any of the texts I've read. I'll keep reading them, and perhaps suggest some big-picture kind of stuff, but I don't think it's worth either of our time to have me send you the small stuff, if three other people with (probably) vastly better english skills are proofing them...
