I'll try my best, it's been a few years since I played femme fatale, so I may be a bit vague in some places.
Get collision. Best weapon in the game. Even with a relatively small ship you can do masses of damage.
Pirate Luxury liners. They have a lot of dosh in (up to a million credit's I recall). You usually find them on the Rigellian buffer systems. The systems will start to hate you, but there only the buffer systems, there not to important. Don't pirate Magellan luxury liners, they'll send out there fighter bombers on you. Iceaxe were they?
There was a bug (or easter egg, I think Martin told me it was an easter egg), Im not sure if it was fixed in FF, where you could buy a rim prospector and then travel to a place which has tractor beams and repulsor beams, and sell the ones that came with the rim prospector, and because they are worth more than the ship itself, you make a profit. Do this a few times, and your quids in.
For fun, try and capture a Stratofighter. (The blue ones) I've never yet managed to capture one, they always blow up to easily. I really wanted one aswell, they were fast. very fast.
That's bout it. If I think of anything else, I'll post it.
Have fun!
