I'm not sure if this goes here or the Nove forum (since it's not a problem with Override itself, just the port).

I'm playing Nova Override with Cold Fusion. I'm doing the Igadzra string before joining the UE. Well I just finished the mission to destroy the Azdgari warship, and now I'm on the proceding mission where I defend against a massive Azdgari attack. There's only one problem -

They never gave me the Plasma Siphon. It said they were attaching a device to my ship, but the Siphon never became one of my outfits. I only have 5 tons of extra space on my heavily modified Crescent Warship, but I don't think that would affect it.

Despite a note to the contrary on my web site, I've been told that my outfits fix plug does successfully prevent Siphon vanishings. The link to my site is in my sig; if it doesn't work, let me know. Lthr's plug, which is described a bit on my site, is another option.

Well I tried it, and the same thing happened. See, the problem isn't that it disappears. I never get it in the first place.

BTW, would it help at all to put this on the Nova board?

It can't hurt now, can it?

I've got a mind like a sieve. There's a problem with the mission that grants the Siphon, and I've been involved in conversations about it already.

Edit: Dsatt12's "Mission Fix," which is available on my E.S.W.P. just below the "outfits fix," should make it so that the siphon is properly installed on your ship when you do the mission.

Sorry for confusion; if you get a chance, let me know if this fixes your problems.
