I am approaching complete "stumpedness." I haven't seen your error message before -- I had at first thought that you had misread it, since it doesn't make sense. Error messages often don't make sense though, don't they? I guess that's because they're error messages....

I'm assuming that "Can't find <<derle>>" is showing up right when the program launches, so that you've never seen the dialog box that lets you configure how the program works -- is that right? I also assume you are on OS 9 (as am I, part time), since you have been talking about the wants of those of us who are stuck on older computers.

()I suppose a memory problem isn't impossible -- so give DeRLE more memory via Get Info.
()Maybe your copy of DeRLE is just plain corrupt. Re-download it, or try it on a different computer.
(*)Try running DeRLE on a smaller file, just as a test. If that works, use ResEdit to copy just the resources you want from Nova Ships 1 to a new blank plug file.

ahem, even though my mac is a dinasour (Its one of the few of its kind left) It has been upgraded to a G3 and has a graphics card. It can rivel the newest windows OS. no thanks.

(on second thought, maybe you are trying to rid yourself of an unstable machine that you don't want .)

I'm really annoyed. I also downloaded the spining programs from WootWare. I used each one a couple of times to do test spins of my TC ships. Then suddenly they started giving me the same "blah blah not found" error. And only the p2s and the other thing isn't working. the M2s is still working.

WHAT IS GOING ON HERE.
