Well I've done the Zachit missions repeatedly in my time; here's a short list of the ships I remember using.

UE Cruiser
Arada, heavily modified (sorry, can't remember how)
Crescent Warship
Lazira
Miranu Gunship (when made available)

Of the above, the CW was the most effective for me, for reasons that are likely obvious. However, once I got the Miranu Gunship I kept it not only for the duration of the string, but for a good while afterwards. Aside from the UE Crusier, the Miranu Gunship is my all-time favorite ship. You wouldn't believe the killing machine made after a lot of modifying......

I like the "Winter Storm" which is a CW with all the engine upgrades, and a layer of Dospect armor.

A Zachit Arada can sometimes beat a Crescent warship in its stock form, but it's too risky to obtain one. I use a lazira or CW, and if I want something more "interesting", if i finish the Miranu Gunship missions in a Lazira, I buy a gunship. It's a good ship, despite the fact that it is just a big Miranu Courier.

No, it's not just a big Miranu courier I'd rather consider it a less-shielded (but cheaper) lazira. And I always buy a layer of dospect with my crescent ships.

No mission, unless it requires cargo space, can't be done easily with a
Crescent Fighter, Captain Wittenberg.

I remember it well - I took down two warships first with spearhead attacks,
then took down all the small ships before cleaning up. It was easy - but you
need to be patient.

As for those who use warships - the only good warship is the Crescent Warship
and the Igazra (of course including the Azdgari Warship). All ships need speed,
as even a Voinian Cruiser will get worn down by the Rock missions.

I believe the Gunship missions are available when you help the Miranu out against the Renegades.
