    • When do I chose my class

When I play Trinity, do chose my class before the game even starts? Do I have to ave registered the game for the class choosing to occur? Or do I choose my class when I get into the learning tree? I am just so confused, I want to be a conjurer, but I don't know how to become one...

The updated demo lets you load one plug. You start a new game with trinity loaded (you see a three headed symbol at the lower right of the main screen when its loaded), it goes through its beginning story bit, then after it asked your name, you choose the class you want. Ta da, your ready to go.

    • Well, it doesn't... However, I haven't registered the game yet... Could that have an effect? I am assuming that is my problem... Hopefully, when I register this tomorrow, it will fix the problem. However, if anyone knows the ansewr, I would be glad for some conformation... I just had a thought, though, that I may not have 1.01. If I just downloaded this today (1/12/02) do I necessarily have 1.01? That could be the problem, too...

    • you need 1.0.1, you can tell you have it from the read me text. since it does not list it in the Get info for PoG.
      Also from Pog update text.
      - Unregistered users can now select only ONE plugin to load from the list

    • I don't have 1.01, and it isn't listed under the list of available downloads for Windows... Any clue how I can get it? I mean, there is a 1.01 download available, but that is for Mac, and I have a Windows machine... And by the way, I am realy appreciating all of oyur help, ArcAngelCounterstrike. I think that just one more post on your par will help me lick this problem once and for all. Thank you ever so much

    • Ah, well, 1.0.1 Mac items should already be in the 1.0 windows since it came out with the update to Mac.

Did you add the "(x) Trinity Plugin" folder to the plug-in folder, not just the data, or the folder that held the "(x) Trinity Plugin" folder?

    • Yes, I did add the Trinity folder to the plig-in folder... I just remembered, though, that the Trinity file was only 15 meg, instead of the 15.44 it is supposed to be... I will try re-downloading it today, I guess... But I do know the file is in the right folder, since it gives me the option of choosing a plugin whenever I start the game...

You must add the "(x) Trinity Plugin" folder in the plugins folder, not the entire folder you downloaded. A plugin selection dialog will appear right after the loading. Select "(x)Trinity Plugin" in the list. Press OK. When you are at the startup screen, look for a new three-head icon at the bottom right corner. If it's there, you're all set. Just start a new game.

    • One more thing: only the full version lets you load plugins. The demo version won't. It is true that the updated full mac version (and 1.0.1 win version) lets you load one plugin when unregistered but not the demo, even updated.
