Okay I have a couple of problems with your post Grundy. The biggest part of it is you blowing up a Carrier that from reading your posts, was never assigned to Notil... or for that matter even constructed that I can see. You have only posted assigning ships to Ersadt and Mordus over the past few days, even if you did build this Carrier, your most recent update of fleet numbers shows Notil as having only the ships that I wrote into the battle.
Another is your use of tractor and repuler tech. From what I can see you did post something about a "Berserker Upgrade (tractor/repulser)", but didn't see fit to let us know what that entailed. While I am unsure about this and need the mods to weigh in, I'm pretty sure Miranu repulser/tractor tech can't target missiles. I put extra research into making small tractor beams capalble of locking on to targets as small and fast moving as missiles, and it dosn't seem fair that you get that capalbility for free. My other problem with your tractors/repulsers is how you propel missiles past my PDS. You did it by pushing them close enough, fast enough, that the PDS on the targeted ships couldn't catch them, and you said I didn't anticipate this. Only problem with this is, I did anticipate some missiles being able to get too close for the targeted ship's PDS to destroy them.

With 3 of the 5 Warships taking point on a rotating schedule, the two others and the BattleCarrier used their PDS to catch anything that was too close for the 3 point ships to get in time.
This strategy pretty much nullifies that aspect of your repulser tactics, especially since there is no way to catch an automated defense system (which my PDS is) by suprise. Your tactic isn't a bad one, and it would have worked had I not guarded against it. But I did.
