I would like to know if I've missed any mission strings in EVO.

The ones I've done so far are the UE/Hinwar central objective, the Nebula Exploration central objective, the Strand War Destabilization central objective, the Anna Balashova string, the Huron string, the Miranu trade string, the Emalgha string(although this may be part of the UE central objective), the Stellar Corp activation string, the string that allows you to do UE missions(in the mission computer, it says "UE:mission name." Am I missing anything?(Besides the Voinian string and the Zidigar string)

Also, is my current ship the best ship possible in terms of the amount of hits it can take and the amount of damage it can dish out? I don't have this ship yet, because I haven't quite gotten the money for it, but I have a UE Cruiser with all good upgrades except for the Engine and RCS upgrades.

Upgrades-Auto-refueller, Density Scanner, IFF Decoder, Two External Fuel Tanks, Two Fuel Scoops, Dospect Armor, Four Shield Enchancers, Five Neutron Turrets(For some reason, EVO won't let me buy any guns when I have max turrets, must be a bug), an ECM System, a Needler Jammer, a Sensor Upgrade, a Nebula Penetration Device, an Afterburner, a Plasma Siphon, a Thrust Upgrade, an Engine Upgrade, an RCS Upgrade, a Mass Expansion or two, and a Jump Enchancement.

PS, now that I have completed most, if not all mission strings possible(if the Voinian string/Zidigar/other strings are possible), are there any plugins you guys would reccomend that I download for more missions?

The only one you are missing that i can tell is the Frontier Express. It isnt anything major, it only allows missions that pay 75,000. It is found on Crocket in the Thoso system. The Voinians, Zidagar, and Azdgari all have strings.

As far as the best ship... well, there have been many debates about it. The Igazra has the best shielding in the game and decent armor(for a crescent ship anyway). But the UE Cruiser is capable of having much more weapons. The Voinian Cruiser is rather super powered as well. That 500 armor will get you anywhere in the crescent without worry. If you are lucky enough to capture the Voinian Dreadnought then it is by far the best ship in the game. And there are those that think the Azdara is the best due to it's insane shield regeneration(making it nearly unstopable). There are so many different uses for different ships it is hard to choose. Just make sure that you name your ship something you really like. Name it as you would choose a tattoo lol.

There is the Ski missions against the Miranu, the Zachit, North tip and South tip renegade missions, and you can do 2 strands at a time if you wish. As far as the most powerful ship I really do not see that as a debate. The most powerful large warship is the Voinian Dreadnought and it can be captured. The most powerful fighter is the Voinian heavy fighter with both azdgari shield regens, 4 shield enhancers and dospect armor. This ship can sit in front of the dreadnought (controlled by the computer) and not be killed. That is something NO other ship can do (Yes that does include Azdara's).

Ahh yes, the two strands for the price of one trick :).

Anyway, have you done the UE Cruiser string, Needle Jammer string, Himgro-New Calcutta plague string? That's about all I can think of that hasn't been mentioned here. If you need more info on any of those just ask here again!

As for the ship, the Igazra was always my favourite - it just has so much space for weaponry and all that! And the Plasma Siphon is usually the only secondary weapon I use - in fact you can use it without primaries against most ships.

About the max. turrets and guns, it isn't a bug - in fact it wasn't like that in v1.0.0 if I remember rightly, just as it wasn't like that in EV classic. It was changed later on, I think mainly to limit how much more firepower you can stock than the AI ships are given. It seems most people don't like the way it is now, and there are small plugins to change it.. if you can find them in the huge list :).

In the way of plugins, I've only really played Frozen Heart, and about half of Femme Fetale - the first was much more gripping I thought, and the story was really well thought out. That was a situation where you could get away with only having the one storyline - if the strings in Nova were more like that they could have been really good.

The UE Cruiser string is the Anna Balashova string. I forgot to mention the Plague string and the Needler jammer string, I did those as well. Anyway, I've downloaded F-25 and Paaren Station. I wonder what secrets they hold???

I'll have to start a new pilot to do it, since I've already made bitter enemies of them. Also, Bomb, I'm having some trouble with F-25 Version 2.0. I got the mission where you have to escort the Miranu convoy past North Tip Station to F-25, but it never comes. I don't have any Voinian escorts, nor is my ship a Voinian ship. All I have is some Voinian upgrades. I can't find out how to make the pilot maker thingy work. It's in the plugins folder, but creating a new pilot does nothing, and your read-me doesn't help either.

Do you have any escorts yourself? If you have too many, the mission escorts may not be able to come.

I'm flying an Igazra, and my escorts consist of two(Maybe three, I think two though) Igazras and one UE Cruiser.

Well, I'm thoroughly vexed. Sometimes it has to do with the system maxing out on ships in system, which doesn't allow the mission ships to come in. It shouldn't be a problem (the systmax is 36) but if there are lots of little fighters launching, it could be. Have you tried to classic cure-all? (Aborting, and trying again?)

I tried it once more, but it still didn't work. I even skipped all the way to North Tip Station, still nothing. There were, on average, about 5 or 6 other ships in the system at a time.
