I'm so close!! I got down 4 levels into the cave to the west of the second crypt after fighting many nasty creatures. However, when I finally got to a huge gate, I didn't have the key. Did I miss it on one of the previous levels, or was I supposed to obtain it from elsewhere?

Also I feel a little weak. Here are my stats.

Level 21
Strength 18
Dex 15
Vit 17
Speed 9
Luck 18
Mind Protection 50

Armour 88
and I have both Elven Bow of Destruction
and Claymore of Bear

Any thoughts about which is the best weapon? By the way, I'm just playing the basic character. I started playing before I loaded the Trinity Plug-in.

You can get your armor well over 100, best thing to look at is my new item list (a few minor errors in it, but nothing major) Shows the best weapons bought at, just dosnt show where the special weapons are. There are several topics on the special weapons around here somewhere.

As for the cave, that the last place you want to be (literaly, its the end of the game) If your looking for high garendall, thats northeast of that crypt. As for the key to that gate, you need to finish the elf missions.

The tome is in the caves to the east and west of the High Garendall ruins (the two caves connect).

Thank you very much. I have just got it and am now on my way back to Orobos.

I got a little bit lazy and was daunted by the numerous monsters in that other cave I went down.

I make more of an effort.
